I am a board-certified psychiatrist with over 35 years of experience in psychiatry. In addition to my career as a psychiatrist, I was ordained as a Christian Minister in 1999. I founded Vine Psychiatric Associates to provide healing based on modern psychiatric practice while integrating a spiritual approach. I provide medication management along with counseling (using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Interpersonal Therapy approaches).
I have worked in academic hospitals and private practice. For the past 15 years I have focused my work in outpatient psychiatry. Most recently I worked at Inova Behavioral Health at the Fair Oaks Hospital clinic. I offer my clients my experience as a psychiatrist and biblical understanding as a minister.
It is my desire to assist and guide my clients for their mental well beings. I have had extensive experience in treating Mood Disorders (Depression and Bipolar Disorder), Anxiety Disorders (Generalized Anxiety, Panic Disorder, OCD, PTSD), and ADHD.
