Yanique’s approach is grounded in listening and fully understanding patients before making a diagnosis or beginning a treatment plan. She works collaboratively with patients and believes that good care begins with honesty and open communication. While drawing from evidence-based clinical approaches, Yanique also recognizes the importance of therapy, lifestyle changes, and building skills that support long term stability. Her goal is for patients to see and feel progress in their day-to-day lives: better sleep, stronger connections, and the ability to do the things that are meaningful to the individual.
Yanique was inspired to work in mental health after working in emergency medicine and her time serving in the military. She saw firsthand how limited access to care, stigma, and unaddressed mental health challenges deeply affected individuals and families.
Outside of work, she enjoys the simple things, spending time with loved ones, exploring different cuisines, and discovering hidden gems. She values balance, creativity, and finding joy in everyday moments, and tries to bring that same spirit into her work, encouraging patients to find what that looks like for them.
