Dr. Xingchun Tang is board-certified in both General Psychiatry and Addiction Psychiatry. She completed her residency in Medical University of South Carolina & fellowship training at the UT Southwestern at Dallas. She works with adult patients for medication management. She has extensive experience working with a wide range of psychiatric diagnosis including depression, bipolar, anxiety, ADHD, alcohol use disorder and opioid use disorder.
Dr. Tang has a deep understanding of how medication works from her prior training in Pharmacology. She readily applies it to patient's situation to minimize side effects and maximize the benefit of the medication. She mostly sees general psychiatric patients. She occasionally accepts patient who needs Naltrexone or Suboxone (buprenorphine/naloxone).
