Dr. Xingchun Tang is board-certified in both General Psychiatry and Addiction Psychiatry. She completed her residency in Medical University of South Carolina & fellowship training at the UT Southwestern at Dallas. She works with adult patients using both medications and psychotherapy. She has extensive experience working with a wide range of psychiatric diagnosis including depression, bipolar, anxiety, ADHD and opioid use disorder. She sees patients for Saturday, and Monday for video appointment.
Dr. Tang has a deep understanding of how medication works due to her prior training in Pharmacology. She readily applies to patient's situation to minimize side effects and maximize the benefit of the medication. She mostly sees general psychiatric patients. She occasionally accepts patient who needs Suboxone(buprenorphine/naloxone) treatment.
