I’m a Board-certified psychiatrist, psychotherapist, and psychedelic researcher. My approach is warm, open-minded, collaborative, and holistic, incorporating responsible medication management when indicated, psychotherapy, mind-body medicine, and lifestyle changes to support healing in the mind, body, and spirit. I love working with people with anxiety, depression, a history of trauma, issues around relationships and attachment, belonging, creativity, spirituality, and/or problems that don’t fit neatly into any diagnostic category. I'm also interested in working with immigrant and BIPOC populations and women.
My therapy style is empathic, insight-oriented, and trauma-informed, incorporating elements of supportive, psychodynamic, CBT, and mind-body approaches such as internal family systems (IFS) and Focusing. I see meds as one part of an integrative plan we come up with together, and am open to supporting people weaning off meds if clinically appropriate.
I'm also an assistant clinical professor of psychiatry at NYU, where I've been a study therapist on multiple psilocybin clinical trials. Drawing on this experience, I also offer psychedelic prep + integration, and ketamine-assisted therapy. My intention is to help people connect more deeply with themselves and others, including their inner wisdom.
