She specializes in anxiety, insomnia, mood disorders, depression, Bipolar Disorder, ADHD, PTSD, OCD, and other psychiatric issues and disorders. She brings experience working inpatient units and outpatient clinics. She performs psychiatric evaluations, psychiatric diagnoses, and prescribes and provides medication management as well as person-centered psychotherapy to patients residing in Delaware and New York. Appointments are only on weekday evenings and weekends.

Dr. Cannon's experiences in psychiatry have spanned over 36 years in advanced practice roles and as senior directors in various inpatient psychiatric arenas. She has been an RN for 38 years and an educator for 27 years. Dr. Cannon offers medication management, psychotherapeutic interventions, and psychotherapy across the lifespan. She specializes in all psychiatric disorders and prior work in TF-CBT and women issues work.

Dr. Dia Arpon is a Psychiatrist in Delaware who has been practicing since 2006. Dr. Arpon provides empathy, knowledge, experience, family medicine and general psychiatry training. She is trained in multiple therapy approaches such as trauma focused therapy, psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, supportive, and motivational interviewing. Dr. Arpon specializes in PTSD, substance abuse, LGBTQI issues, community, women's health, Depression, and Anxiety. I am a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over five years of experience in the mental health field. Initially from Long Island, NY, I obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology and Public Health, with a minor in Spanish from Stony Brook University. I returned to the University of Delaware to receive my Bachelor’s Degree in nursing. It has been working in both inpatient and outpatient dual-diagnosis psychiatry settings that I found my true passion, and pursued my MSN in psychiatry.

Dr. Ann Marie Buchanan-Cummings is a doctoral prepared, board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with 18 years of experience in the Department of Veterans Affairs Healthcare System. Dr. Buchanan-Cummings earned a BS in Nursing from the College of New Rochelle, NY, a Master of Science in Nursing and Doctorate in Nursing Practice from the Medical University of South Carolina. Our prescriber can prescribe all medications excluding Controlled Substances such as Xanax, Ativan, Klonopin, Ritalin, Adderall, and others in some states.
