I am originally from Alabama and attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham for my MSN. I also spent 7 years in the Army and am a combat veteran. I have been in Nursing since 2013 and mental health since 2016 where I got my start at the Department of Veterans Affairs in Tennessee working with inpatient psychiatry. Working with veterans helped me to realize my next career goal of becoming a PMHNP. I set forth and graduated in 2020 with my MSN as a PMHNP.

Julie Bremer is a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner who has been nursing since 2005 in acute care, labor and delivery, newborn, and case management. She graduated from the University of Colorado, Anschutz, with a Master's in Nursing degree focusing on psychiatric care throughout the lifespan. Julie believes in treating the whole person in a welcoming, caring, and non-judgmental presence. Her main area of focus includes mood and anxiety issues throughout the lifespan, including the perinatal period, using an integrative holistic approach.

Keri Lemmond, M.D. is a board-certified adult psychiatrist with more than 22 years of experience in the field of medication management for the treatment of depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD, women and college student issues. She graduated medical school from Texas A&M Health Sciences Center and completed her residency at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. She has been on faculty at the University of Colorado Department of Psychiatry and on staff at Colorado State University Health Center.

I know this is a difficult step to see a counselor. But try to forget the stigma. Everyone needs help now and then and it takes courage to reach out and connect. It's wired in you to need others during difficult times, and sometimes it's too much for a friend or a spouse to sort through things with you. I work with you to set practical goals, work toward them, and when you've reached them you can either wrap up your sessions with me, or set new goals. We only do what feels safe and right for you. I want to come along side you to get to the root of your concerns, and I give you tools to practice in between sessions.

TMS provider. As a child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist (patients age 4-50) in practice for the past 9 yrs helping individuals lead happier more productive and satisfying lives. Collaboration is key in meeting the patient's objectives in treatment. My approach to medication use is conservative, it is an important part of treatment for many mental health issues but there are associated side effects which can come up especially as the dosage of medications are increased. Non-medication options we provide include Brainsway dTMS for treatment resistant depression and OCD.

Although carefully chosen medications can quickly achieve much needed relief of anxiety, depression, insomnia and trauma symptoms, a thorough evaluation can also identify many opportunities for improvement without medications. The most effective treatment plan may include work-life balance, nutrition and sleep strategies, addressing, avoiding or adapting to triggers, in addition to multiple psychotherapies. When needed, medications with the lowest side effects, easiest to use, most predictably effective & not addictive are recommended. Ultimately, it is up to each person to decide which strategies they will use to achieve wellness.
