Patients come to me wanting to feel better. Many have tried several medications or received different diagnoses without finding clear answers. It is important that I understand your experiences and hear your story so I can better identify patterns, clarify problems, and discuss appropriate treatment options. I will work collaboratively with you instead of simply telling you what to do.

My evaluations focus on mood, attention, anxiety, trauma, stress, sleep, relationships, substance use, and other factors that may affect emotional wellbeing. Together, we create a treatment strategy that may include medication management, supportive therapy, education, good old common sense, and coordination with primary care doctors or therapists.

Reaching out takes courage. My goal is to listen carefully, validate your concerns, explain the reasoning behind treatment recommendations, and help you start feeling better and moving forward. I can usually see new patients within a week.
