I am a dual-certified family and mental health nurse practitioner. I have a background as a mental health nurse working with mental health patients of all ages since 2013. It was there I found my passion in the mental health field. I am so excited our society is finally shedding more light on these issues. There has been a stigma for far too long. I firmly believe that mental health disorders are one of the most difficult diseases to live with and can impact so many aspects of our lives. Disorders such as depression, anxiety, and other mood disorders can lead to poor physical health and I am here to help prevent this from happening!
My goal as your NP is to provide professional, compassionate, and evidence-based care. I will determine if there truly is a mental health disorder that requires medication and together we will come up with an individualized treatment plan that we both agree upon and feel comfortable with.
