I am accepting new clients. I am a board-certified family psychiatric nurse practitioner (PMHNP), graduating from Oregon Health & Science University in 2008. I provide assessment, diagnosis, brief therapy, and medication management. I work with those 18 years and older with the following conditions: depression, anxiety, panic, trauma, bipolar, obsessions & compulsions, anger and psychotic disorders.

Reaching out for mental health treatment is a big step forward, and it can be an overwhelming–and sometimes scary– step! People seek help because they're struggling or stuck, be it due to mood or concentration difficulties, trauma, burnout, or anxiety. Some have concerns about substance use; others aren't quite sure what's wrong, but they know they're tired and ready for change. Fundamentally, mental health care is about reducing your suffering, improving quality of life, and fostering resilience and growth. In treatment I attempt to balance my expertise– the science supporting medication decisions– with your own expertise– your body and mind. Ioana Hall is a graduate of Seattle University, having earned a Doctorate Degree in Nursing Practice, specializing in Psychiatry. She was born and raised in Romania. Dr. Hall has worked for over a decade in different roles, providing direct inpatient care at a local psychiatric hospital, where she ultimately completed her preceptorship. Dr. Hall has been with Discovery MD since early April, 2023. She has a passion for holistic medicine combined with individualized pharmaceutical and alternative psychiatric treatment to effectively target symptoms associated with all psychiatric disorders, specifically treatment-resistant MDD.

Arabelle is a board-certified Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Samuel Merritt University in the San Francisco Bay area. She enjoyed seven fulfilling years as a registered nurse in various areas of practice and eventually became the Director of Nursing at an addiction treatment center in the Pacific Northwest. She then obtained a Master of Science in Nursing from Seattle Pacific University and a national certification with the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).

Accepting New Patients, even on Saturday and can see patients through Telepsychiatry or Telemedicine, and we do have some evening appts available as well. Trained as a family and psychiatric nurse practitioner. Master’s trained from the University of Cincinnati and Touro University; also have degrees from Pacific Lutheran University in Nursing and the University of Oklahoma. I have a background in military medicine, and have served populations that have been diverse and underserved. I have also served in case management for Washington State DSHS, working with social workers and caregivers for and in behalf of foster children.

I am a doctoral-prepared and board-certified family psychiatric nurse practitioner and have worked in the mental health field for the past eight years. I have been a nurse for Twelve years. I have my doctorate from Texas Women's University Dallas, Texas, and my master’s and bachelor’s from the University of Texas Arlington, Texas. I currently see patients in TX, WA, OR, and DE.

We believe that everyone deserves the chance to overcome depression and we strive to provide the most relevant and effective care under the leadership of Dr. Kris Peterson (our Psychiatrist & Medical Director), a Retired Army Colonel who served for 25 years. Before returning to civilian work, Dr. Peterson was the chief of Psychiatry at Madigan Army Medical Center and has been an ally to both civilian and military patients for nearly 3 decades.

I love and strive to take the stigma out of mental health and help my patients make sense of their lives by embracing their unique journey. I am comfortable and proficient in treating a variety of mental health challenges and I am LGBTQIA friendly!

I am Dr. Veronica Forchu. I earned my Doctorate of Nursing Practice from UMass Global California with specialty in Psychiatry and Mental Health Across the Lifespan. I also earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Chamberlain College of Nursing Ohio. I have experience in case management, serving patients of different age groups in home health, palliative care and hospice, managing anxiety, depression, dementia, psychotic episodes and pain at end-of-life. I bring with me over 10 years of experience working with patients and providing emotional support to their families and loved ones dealing with loss & grief.
