I am a board certified adult psychiatrist with additional training in mind-body medicine. I have over 15 years of experience in NY/NJ treating patients in university hospitals, in both inpatient and outpatient settings. I also serve as an expert consultant to psychiatrists, primary care doctors, and therapists for patients who need a thorough evaluation for the appropriateness of medications. I distinguish myself by having a collaborative, practical approach to treatment - all your interactions are directly with me , no administrators or secretaries are involved.
I understand the patient's needs and goals, and come up with a personalized treatment plan. I approach patients from a humanistic and holistic view - understanding the deep connection between the mind and body and establishing a relationship based on mutual respect and understanding.
Areas of special interest are anxiety, depression, adhd, ptsd, panic attacks, bipolar disorder, and obsessive-compulsive disorder. I also address reproductive psychiatry and women's mental health issues as infertility, postpartum depression, parenting issues. I provide telepsychiatry to all my patients using both video call and phone call.
