I was born and raised in Puerto Rico by a Cuban mother and a Puertorrican father; completed my medical school training as well as my first year of Psychiatry Residency at the University of Puerto Rico Medical School – San Juan, which is the largest Medical Center in Puerto Rico. After completion of my first year of residency I transferred to Gainesville, Florida to finish my psychiatry residency from the University of Central Florida/ HCA Consortium program.
I am a Board-Certified Psychiatrist with the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. I am a Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association. I am licensed to practice medicine in the state of Florida, Georgia, Alabama, New Hampshire and Wisconsin.
Supervising a team of Psychiatry providers at Better Beginnings, we provide both in office and online medication management to a range of the population while also specializing in reproductive and perinatal mental health as well as ADHD.
