As a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I am prepared to provide holistic care to individuals, while prioritizing their mental health needs, given that it greatly affects the overall health of an individual. I have supported individuals of all ages, in different settings, for various conditions, and in different roles as a mental health professional. My perspective on mental health challenges comes with a rich understanding of individual and system barriers. However, what matters the most is understanding what your goal for "wellness" is. Then, we partner to achieve it.
I often start with an introductory session in which we both introduce ourselves, and you share your story and goal(s) to achieve in therapy. If unsure, we will figure it out together. I offer evening sessions, weekend sessions with the options of in-person and/or virtual to increase access to you.
Your comfort and safety are vital to me. Subsequent appointments will be jointly decided based on the acuity or nature of your needs and “size” of your goal(s) to make them realistic and attainable.
