Greetings! My name is Dr. Victoria Hernandez, I am a board certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I originally attended the University of Texas at Arlington, where I received my Bachelor of Science in Nursing. While working as a pediatric psychiatric nurse, I completed my Doctorate in Nursing Practice at the University of the Incarnate Word. I am an active member of The National Society of Leadership and Success, and the American Nurses Association & Texas Nurses Association.
I collaborate with the Mind Works team to treat each patient. I conduct patient intake screenings to thoroughly diagnose mental illnesses. I utilize treatment measures like psychotherapy and integrative therapy interventions as well as psychotropic medications individual to each patient's needs. I continue to monitor medication effectiveness.
Hobbies of mine include exercising, painting, cooking, and spending time outdoors. Wellness and self- care are special to me. I also enjoy walking at the Pearl or in the park. I am a busy soccer and football mom, and I love contributing to my kiddo’s teams. Most importantly, I enjoy making memories and spending time with my family and friends.
