I use my background in Integrative Psychiatry to give my clients a 360 degree treatment plan, including supplements, lifestyle modification and psychiatric medications when appropriate. My approach appreciates that while psychiatric drugs and supplements can help, for most patients, it is not a quick fix and they do need psychotherapy in order to thrive and steer the treatment in a new direction.
I graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Engineering from the University of Virginia. Although I greatly value my math and science background, I missed the human side of the sciences so next set out for medical school at Albany Medical College.
After graduating from medical school, I completed my psychiatry residency at Montefiore Medical Center. Following residency I gained additional experience as the Senior Chief of the Psychiatry Residency.
