I am a spiritual person that believes that how I treat others is a direct reflection of my relationship with GOD. Also, that all human beings deserve to be treated with respect and dignity regardless of their race, age, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, or diagnosis. There is a saying that if you love what you do, you will never WORK a day in your life. I must say that in all my years in this field, I have not worked. I have taken care of my patients and treated them like my own family and have enjoyed every minute of it.
My most recent experience involves the treatment of patients with Psychiatric disorders/ illnesses in an outpatient clinical setting. My combined experience allows for a unique approach in understanding how physical health can impact mental health and vice versa.
My treatment approach is includes establishing an environment of trust and offering empathetic care that is not solely based on a diagnosis, but truly listening to you as a person that has their own individualized needs. My goal is to always serve as your advocate, in which I am concerned about helping you and your family make the best-informed decisions.
