He received his Master of Clinical Nurse Leader (CNL) from the University of Maryland School of Nursing, Baltimore. He obtained Post-Masters Certificate in Family Nurse Practitioner from Drexel University, Philadelphia. After extensive experience ranging from critical care medicine, emergency medicine and Trauma-Surgical program, he proceeded to University of Texas Rio Grande Valley for Post-Masters Certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
