After earning a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from University of Maryland University College, she then pursued a master’s degree in Medical Science Physician Assistant at Mercer University, Georgia. Her upbringing was in a bi-cultural environment both in Japan and USA, receiving both formal education. Moving around during childhood had its moments, but her background helped her dive into many diverse cultural understandings by living and/or having ties in a few different regions.
