Amanda Anazia MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC, FNP is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner as well as a certified family nurse practitioner. She is a part of the inaugural class of 2012 where she received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Texas State University. Amanda obtained her MSN from the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, where she specialized in Family in 2020. She also obtained a Post-Master’s Certificate from the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston where she specialized as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in 2021.

What is your definition of health and happiness? This is one of the first questions that I ask a patient. The answer may not be known but we can figure it out. Our mental health is based on what is going on in our bodies, in our brains, and our day-to-day life. It is influenced by those we have met along the way. It is challenged by day-to-day life, stress, happiness, sadness, pandemics, aging, and more. My focus is on figuring out how this all fits together and together finding a plan to get you to where you want to be. I have 11 years of experience as psychiatric/mental health nurse practitioner.

I know your time is valuable. I am a Board Certified Psychiatrist with Fellowships in Psychoanalysis and Mindfulness based treatments. I provide individualized treatment for those dealing with concerns about mood, anxiety, or struggles in one or more areas of life. While I offer short sessions of psychiatric care, my area of expertise is long sessions integrating treatments such as psychoanalysis talk therapy, exercise, mindfulness, and medications when indicated.

Anthony Tony Benoit is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (APRN, PMHNP-BC) who attended Louisiana State University Health Science Center School of Nursing where he received his bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN). Upon graduation, he moved to Austin, Texas where he spent the next 7 years working at Brackenridge Hospital. In 2013, as his passion for mental health grew, he made the decision to transition to the psychiatric field of nursing, helping to reopen the Austin Oaks Hospital located in south Austin.

Dr. Jordan is originally from Louisiana. He attended medical school at Louisiana State University in Shreveport. He attended a surgical internship at Wake Forest University. He then transitioned into the psychiatry residency at Texas A&M. He attended Harvard medical school to further study application of neuromodulation. Dr. Jordan specializes in neuromodulation from ECT, tDCS, TMS, and the research of those modalities. He enjoys working with the all patient population and helping to achieve their best health outcome.

My name is Jef Bayless, and I’ve recently opened additional availability in my practice to take on new clients. I’m a board-certified psychiatric provider and I accept most major insurance plans (including Cigna, Aetna, United, etc) because I believe care should be affordable to all. Dr. Nadia Bening is a Psychiatrist and Certified Brain Health Coach in addition to wife and mom of 3 boys. She has over a decade of experience in the traditional psychiatric clinical setting and was Medical Director at a substance abuse rehabilitation center for the past 3 years.

Ivan Srdanovic is a board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner who encompasses the biopsychosocial model in treating mental health disorders. Ivan believes that each person has a unique history, and considering all aspects of a person’s life is the most effective way of creating a personalized treatment plan for them. Ivan has experience in outpatient psychiatry treating adults and adolescents with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD, thought disorders, adjustment disorders, and personality disorders.

Alicia is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a significant background in mental health and behavioral problems across the lifespan. She obtained her Master of Science degree in Nursing at the Maryville University of St Louis and her Nursing degree at Kingston School of Nursing and has over 20 years of nursing experience in various capacities. She is committed to providing compassionate, client-centered care to all as well as increasing access to mental health services. Alicia believes in providing holistic care and understanding each patient is unique.

The mission of Sigma Mental Health Urgent Care is to improve the lives of people living with mental health disorders by providing immediate psychiatric and therapeutic services during moments of crisis as well as creating a continuity of care between our staff members and other mental health providers in the community. We also seek to provide brief psychiatric and counseling services to individuals who are currently without a mental health provider while they find a long-term practitioner who will meet their needs.
