As a psychiatrist and psychotherapist, I specialize in psychoanalytic and psychodynamic therapy and the thoughtful use of medications where indicated.
I help patients gain deeper insight into their lives, manage symptoms, explore inner turmoil, and navigate life transitions. My goal is to help you better understand yourself, find new ways to cope with stress and anxiety, and achieve a greater sense of life satisfaction.
I have expertise in psychodynamic therapy and psychoanalysis, approaches in which we work to understand thoughts and feelings that are outside of your awareness but have a powerful influence on how you feel and relate to others. Together, we work to understand how your past shapes your present struggles and uncover patterns that repeatedly stand in your way.
I completed residency and fellowship in psychiatry at the University of Pennsylvania. I am in advanced training for psychoanalysis at the Philadelphia Psychoanalytic Center.
