After graduating from medical school, I completed two years of mandatory service as a general practitioner in an underserved area near the Syrian border during the beginning of Syrian Civil War. While working there, I have noticed that people mostly seek help for their physical illnesses and wounds. But some injuries/sufferings are not seen and yet pain the most. I realized that invisible wounds are the hardest to heal. It requires love, patience, understanding, and emotional support for their closure.

I am a double board certified (in Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine) adult psychiatrist with strong psychopharmacology and psychotherapy(CBT, Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Motivational Interviewing and Couples Therapy) background.
