I am passionate about working with people to reach their full potential. I help people reconnect to their mental and physical health. I am trained as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner as well as a Certified Nurse Midwife. My care philosophy integrates mental and physical health for highly individualized treatment in a non-judgmental and empathetic space. A thorough medical and psychiatric history will be obtained and together we will decide the best treatment options.
My background is in sexual and reproductive health. Some individuals are prescribed psychiatric medications without a thorough mental health assessment by a mental health professional with consideration of their whole self.
I have worked with patients who suffered from the arbitrariness of prescribing psychoactive medications leading to poor outcomes & fear of medications. My goal is to convey educated, informed recommendations to my patients that meets their individual needs and considers their whole health.
