I would love the opportunity to use my knowledge and skills as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to help you achieve mental wellness. I provide a safe and supportive environment where you can be comfortable. I offer flexible appointments to suit your schedule. I offer support to adults on an individual basis who may be dealing with depression, anxiety, and other common mental health challenges. I prioritize clear, direct, warm, and open communication in a caring, compassionate, non-judgmental environment.
My goal is that you leave your visit feeling better than when you came. I stress the importance of self-care, stress management, good sleep hygiene, healthy diets, and physical activity in achieving overall good health. I listen to my patients, allow patients the opportunity to express thoughts and feelings, and allow time to ask questions.
Together, we'll identify and set goals that strengthen your mental health and help to achieve your objectives. Interventions such as medication management will be based on evidence-based guidelines. We'll also use non-pharmacological interventions such as stress management and mindfulness strategies.
