I received my Master of Science in Nursing, with a specialty in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, from LaSalle University in Philadelphia, PA. I am certified through the American Nurses Credentialing center as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, and am licensed through the state of New Jersey as an Advanced Practice Nurse. I am also a member of the American Nurses Association and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. The focus of the majority of my experience has been with adult populations within the inpatient and outpatient mental health and substance use treatment settings.
Through my educational and work experience, I have been afforded the opportunity to work with an array of mental health disorders in a variety of settings. This has afforded me the opportunity to gain valuable insight into the needs of different populations, and how to work collaboratively with individuals in meeting their unique needs.
I have a great passion for mental health, and I understand the importance of working with individuals in establishing a course of treatment which is in alignment with their goals and preferences. My focus remains on the entire individual and their overall wellbeing.
