Hello! My name is Marco Rudas-Garcia. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from the University of Utah and subsequently earned a master's degree in nursing from Gonzaga University. My professional experience includes working in surgical trauma units and psychiatric units, and I have experience in caring for developmentally delayed populations with mental illness. Additionally, I have worked at the VA hospital in Salt Lake City, providing care to veterans. My professional interests lie in working with trauma patients, as well as individuals with anxiety, depression, and various other mental health needs.

I specialize in treating mood disorders such as depression and anxiety, trauma related stress, psychosis, as well as substance use. I offer general medication management including Suboxone, Esketamine, and work closely with Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS).

I offer Medication management of emotional disorders and psychiatric disorders. I have worked in medicine for nearly 35 years! Family practice, psychiatric medicines, and urgent care. My work history includes critical care at Harborview Medical Center, elsewhere oncology, Native American Tribes, and urgent care on a mobile unit in Central Florida while working with Healthcare for the Homeless. Board-certified in family practice and psychiatric medicines. Also a Doctorate in Nursing Practice.

Accepting New Patients, even on Saturday and can see patients through Telepsychiatry or Telemedicine, and we do have some evening appts available as well. Trained as a family and psychiatric nurse practitioner. Master’s trained from the University of Cincinnati and Touro University; also have degrees from Pacific Lutheran University in Nursing and the University of Oklahoma. I have a background in military medicine, and have served populations that have been diverse and underserved. I have also served in case management for Washington State DSHS, working with social workers and caregivers for and in behalf of foster children.

I am the owner/clinician of Hope Mental Health. We provide psych evaluations, medication and psychotherapy to all mental health conditions as needed, specializing in severe mental illness. When you schedule an appointment with me, you get a team of two. One of my interns will take a medical and psychiatric history and then I will come on and complete the evaluation and with you, my intern and myself, and we will make a treatment plan. On subsequent visits, the intern will follow you and will bring me on when medication or treatment plan needs tweaking. Our style is integrative in nature. All are in training in psychotherapy.

I am a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. My practice consists of medication management and psychotherapy. I provide integrative mental health and psychiatric care by utilizing a collaborative and holistic approach. In my practice I incorporate natural remedies (nutrition, supplements, etc.) to compliment traditional treatments. I have great respect for the individual’s innate healing power through mind and body connections. I work in a scientific and holistic way to alleviate the intertwined connection between mind and body like chronic fatigue, pain or other mystery illness affecting one’s mental health.

Vanessa's practice focuses on integrative mental health interventions that incorporate dietary modifications, improved sleep habits, brief psychotherapy, and medication management. She partners with individuals across the lifespan to set mental health goals, and works toward achieving these through incorporation of evidence-based practice and acknowledgement of a person’s lived experience.
