Dr. Ahmed is a Diplomate of American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology. Dr. Ahmed has many years of experience in treating mental illnesses. After an initial diagnostic interview, individualized treatment plan is discussed with clients. This may include medication management, psychotherapy or a combination of both depending on your symptoms and needs. Dr. Ahmed also offers TMS treatment for Depression in his Okemos office. Dr. Ahmed treats clients with mental illnesses like Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorder, Major Depression, Anxiety & Panic Disorders, PTSD, ADHD, and Autism Spectrum Disorders.

I take a holistic approach to psychiatric care. A complete assessment is done at every initial visit which includes a diagnostic interview and medication management if the person chooses. I provide information and the person chooses how they want to move forward. You will receive a questionnaire via email to make sure we can provide the care you need.
