I provide medication management for Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, PTSD, Trauma, Sleep or Insomnia, and includes Motivational Interviewing, CBT, and Solution-Based. This is a telehealth-only practice. In essence, we do not initiate a controlled medication (such as benzodiazepines), by DEA regulations. Private pay rates are $150 for follow-up and $275 for initial evaluation. My goal as a psychiatric nurse practitioner is to provide compassionate, holistic, and evidence-based care to individuals struggling with mental health challenges.

Through New Image Wellness, I work to evaluate concerns that involve medical, psychological, and social issues. The interface of these three domains are best served when balanced. At times, one or more become strained and deserve more attention. When simple solutions and advice doesn't work, it is often helpful to seek medical management and talk therapy.

I am a highly trained, board-certified psychiatrist with more than thirty five years of experience in integrated treatment in all forms of psychiatric problems. My skills include adolescent and adult psychiatry, hypnotherapy, group therapy, marital and family therapy, and psychopharmacology. In today's mental health market, almost all professionals either practice psychotherapy (social workers or psychologists) or prescribe medication (psychiatrists). I am one of the very few providers of combined intensive psychotherpay and psychopharmacology.

I am board certified in both Adult psychiatry and Child & Adolescent psychiatry. I have expertise in the use of customized and collaborative therapeutic approaches including individual therapy, CBT, sports psychiatry, supportive therapy and family therapy. I complete a very detailed assessment in order to provide the most appropriate care and treatment plan. As a physician, I also recognize that at times medications are indicated in the recovery process. When appropriate, I will work with you on personalized medication management.

After graduating with a Degree in Psychology from Georgetown University, I received a Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology. I began my career as Director of St. Mary's a facility for abused and neglected children/adolescents. I returned to The Medical College of Pennsylvania and completed my internship/residency at Pennsylvania Hospital/Institute of Pennsylvania Hospital. Served as a consultant to the Renfrew Center an eating disorder and women's mental health facility. As Director of Medical Education at Crozer-Chester Hospital I have taught medical students and residents. In practice for 20 years, I am a Board Certified Psychiatrist.

As Co-founder and Owner of Psychiatry Services, Juliana brings over 25 years of experience in healthcare to her practice. She specializes in the psychiatric treatment of children, adults and geriatric patients. She provides thorough evaluations and medication management of all mental illness utilizing the Bio psychosocial Model. She has an extensive background in the hospital setting managing the care of patients who are medically compromised and in need of psychiatric care. Her compassionate manner is comforting to others in their time of need. Juliana is also bilingual speaking fluent Spanish.
