As a board certified psychiatric nurse practitioner and licensed clinical professional counselor, I use a biopsychosocial approach to provide comprehensive services that meet patients' complex needs. I use a teamwork approach with patients, and I believe that building supportive relationships is of utmost importance. I am a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) who graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago. I specialize in psychiatric assessments and medication management and utilize a personal and individual approach with all my clients. I treat adults ages 18-65 dealing with a broad range of conditions including: depression, anxiety, trauma, PTSD, and other mood disorders.

I provide Psychiatric Assessments and Medication Management for clients across the lifespan dealing with anxiety, depression, PTSD, ADHD, and mood disorders. My clinical approach is client centered and I strive to provide a collaborative therapeutic relationship to help individuals thrive in treatment.

Dr. Gundu Reddy is licensed in Illinois. Prior to starting a residency at Mount Sinai School of medicine, she pursued additional research in HIV psychiatry. As well as residency training, she has also pursued further training in psychodynamic psychotherapy at the NYU Psychoanalytic Institute. She states that whether prescribing medication, family, or relationship therapy, understanding psychodynamic conflict and causes of symptoms will cause help to enhance the quality of care. As well as psychodynamic training Dr. Reddy also has a background in integrative psychiatry and treatment resistance.

Johnny Williamson, MD is board certified in General Psychiatry, and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. He has a breadth of experience treating children and adults of all ages. He provides psychotherapy and psychotropic medication management to treat attention deficit disorders, autism, anxiety, mood disorders, bipolar disorder, school phobia, and specializes in the treatment of PTSD and eating disorders. He believes in a holistic approach that combines appropriate therapeutic modalities treating individuals, families, and groups; and, where indicated, effective medication strategies.

I primarily treat adult patient with mood and anxiety disorders with medication management and brief psychotherapy interventions. My primary goal for patients is to improve symptoms to minimize impact on social and occupational functioning. I prefer to collaborate with each patient to identify individualized symptom management goals and select the best course of treatment.

Dr. Amelia Merz strives to provide compassionate, patient-focused care in a collaborative process with you & your therapist to achieve recovery from mental health problems and substance abuse. She is board certified in Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine and is certified by Postpartum Support International in Perinatal Mental Health. She uses an evidence-based approach in her practice. She trained at the University of Minnesota where she completed both medical school and residency. Dr. Merz has practiced in many settings including outpatient clinics, residential treatment centers and inpatient psychiatric hospitals.

As a group psychotherapist and addiction psychiatrist, I am available to work with you on any phase of recovery from addictions, compulsive behaviors and the effects of being in a relationship with an addict (whether parent, sibling, partner or child). I understand addiction as a broad disease, including substances (alcohol, nicotine, opiates, stimulants, sedatives and other drugs), food, sex, money, work and codependence. I often work in collaboration with individual therapists and mutual support groups to enhance the effectiveness of each intervention.

The wisdom of knowing when to keep working at solving a problem vs when to work towards acceptance is only achieved through our authentic best efforts over time.
