We are a new practice in Houston and welcome both insured (TX) and self-pay patients (CA, FL, OH, MA, TX). Dr. Zafar is trained in both General and Addiction Psychiatry. Dr. Zafar emphasizes the importance of empowering you back to health and you will be an active participant in your care.
Dr. Z focusses on the neurological basis of mental health and this is evident at Tranquilliem Health. We practice the judicious use of psychiatric medication and strongly discourage over-medicating patients. We take a very cautious approach to stimulants and their use. Stimulants are HIGHLY addictive and we do not prescribe them lightly.
