Hi, I’m Tracy Shadley! I am a dual-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). My main focus is Psychiatric/Mental Health Services. I am based in the Chicago area, and I have a passion for helping patients achieve their mental health goals. I believe in treating patients as whole people instead of just one aspect of them. I aspire to take a person-centered, caring approach to treatment. I have worked in many areas of healthcare, including both inpatient and outpatient settings, as well as telehealth.
I currently work with a wide variety of patient populations, ranging from pediatric to geriatric, with a primary emphasis on the adult population. I help individuals with a wide variety of mental health concerns, as well as dementia care and the concerns that go along with it.
I prefer a collaborative approach with my patients so that we are working towards the goals they feel are most important to them. I do this through clear, open, two-way communication. As things change and evolve with their needs, we work together to make adjustments to the plan, so we continue to make positive improvements.
