I practice telepsychiatry via a safe and secure telehealth platform. As a PMHNP I provide psychiatric medication management to treat and relieve mental disorders. My treatment approach is empowering the patient through self-knowledge, medication and understanding of their illness to promote and develop resilience to life issues. I see patient from 18 and above. I specialized in comprehensive assessment, diagnose symptoms and medication management. I treat patients with depression, anxiety, Bipolar 1 and 2, schizophrenia, PTSD other psychosis and Borderline personality disorder.
I believe telepsychiatry will improve accessibility to mental health treatment. I see patient in various stages of mental illness. Metal health illness carries a negative connotation for many people. This will sometimes keep people from seeking help early. Most stigma attached to M.H are myth. mental illness is no more different from other chronic illnesses and those patient are not shamed seeking treatment.
