About
I am a depression & anxiety expert who combines professionalism with warmth. My goal is to find the right medication as quickly as possible. I use genetic testing to which identify medications are more likely to work and which to avoid and aim to find the lowest effective dose. I prescribe Spravato (esketamine) nasal spray. This new treatment works faster than other medications and is only prescribed at certified centers. Medical illnesses (including cancer/survivorship) are other areas of focus. My clients are often professionals or their families and are frequently referred by their care providers who know and trust me.
Double board certified, Associate Professor. Worked at the leading NYC hospitals: Weill Cornell Medicine/New York Presbyterian, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, NorthWell Health. Researcher, lecturer and teacher. Author of textbook chapters on depression and anxiety. I believe that treating depression & anxiety can change your life!
Depression and anxiety cause terrible suffering. I have personally seen its impact on family, friends and colleagues. My mission is to ease the pain of depression and anxiety and start you on the road to recovery. Reach out to see if I am the right psychiatrist for you!
