Each person is different and your individual treatment plan should reflect that. I treat a multitude of psychiatric disorders including but not limited to depression, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, and OCD. Some specialized populations that I treat include perinatal, child, and co-occurring medical complexity.

I am a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with over 14 years of Psychiatric Mental Health experience, focusing mostly in crisis treatment, alcohol and opioid dependence along with the treatment of schizophrenia, depression, and anxiety. I consult all clients without judgment, exclude no psychiatric issue or age group and truly believe every patient deserves only the best treatment and care. I have worked in several different units in the psychiatric Hospitals around the Miami area. I have two beautiful young children and an amazing wife that supports me in everything I do; they are the backbone of my life.

I am a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over a decade of experience in a variety of nursing specialties. I am an active member in Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. I aim to provide my patients with the support they need based on their individually unique situations. I hope that my patients feel safe, comfortable and respected in my care.

My approach is integrative, which means that treatment with medications may be combined with non-medication options, such as mindfulness-based interventions, life-style optimization, and nutritional supplementation. My role is to offer these treatment options to you, and guide you as you make the decisions about which of these is aligned with your goals. All treatment options are evidence-informed, based on the medical and scientific literature.

I often see people who are uncertain if they want medicine and are concerned about the potential risks. David J. Williams, M.D., is a board-certified child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist in private practice in Denver, CO specializing in talk therapy. Dr. Williams treats patients with chronic work and relationship problems, ADHD, Depression, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Social Anxiety Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, and Panic Disorder. While trained in the use of medications, Dr. Williams also has extensive additional experience and training in providing talk therapy for chronic or recurrent mood and anxiety problems for patients seeking treatment beyond medication management.
