I'm board certified in both general psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry focusing on the complex issues of adolescents and young adults ages 13-29. These years of development can be complicated and confusing, and the time for the emergence of many psychiatric disorders. I help college students return to school when they have had to take a break due to stress leading to poor grades, family issues, relationship conflicts, or other emotional hardships.. I provide weekly psychotherapy, prescribe medications when indicated, and address poly pharmacy and am interested in safely de-prescribing ineffective medications.
I don't accept insurance directly, but will provide you a statement which includes the necessary billable codes required for reimbursement. I don't accept Medicare/Medicaid. I request payment for each session by cash or check, and I bill for sessions missed or canceled within 24 hours of the appointment time..
