Now Accepting New Patients! Weekday/end hours available. I am dual board-certified as a psychiatric nurse practitioner and a family nurse practitioner. My training with both mental health and the physical body helps me to aid my patients in recognizing the nature of the mind-body connection, and how it pertains to the health of each.
I treat adults 22+ from all walks of life, but I have a particular passion for men’s health. My treatment-style is based around helping people to optimize their diet, exercise, sleep, community and spirituality. In addition I'm currently in training as an Associate Sex Addiction Therapist Candidate
Individualized treatment and informed consent are pillars of appropriate psychiatric medication treatment. I take care to review my patient’s current medication list, reducing unnecessary medication as needed before discussing any options to add new medications. I work with previously-established providers when making medication adjustments.
If a patient is open to the idea of medication, and through the interview process, it is deemed that they may be helpful, we can certainly discuss various options.
I do not prescribe benzodiazepines (Xanax, Ativan, Valium, etc.) but will work with you on alternative treatments.
I do not perform disability evaluations or fill out disability paperwork.
