I received my Post Master’s at Herzing University and 12 years of nursing experience in the psychiatric field ranging from child to adult inpatient care and outpatient mental health. Prioritizing a collaborative, patient-centered strategy and actively engaging with the clients to understand their unique needs. My focus is on the treatment of mood disorders, trauma, psychotic disorders, and chronic mental illness.
Can diagnose and treat a wide range of mental illnesses ages ranging from 18 to 70. These can include but are not limited to depression, insomnia, bipolar disorder, substance abuse, ADHD, eating disorder, and schizophrenia; symptoms such as anxiety and paranoia. Given my patients flexibility, this provider is available after hours and on weekends.
A client can expect their initial visit to be conducted in a warm and welcoming environment. Secondly, a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, determination of treatment goals, and education about diagnosis and available treatment options. At this visit, mutual trust and respect with the patient, honest, and effective communication will be established.
