The Timothy Center is a collaborative group of therapists and medication providers founded in 2001 by Dr. Jimmy Myers, offering individual, couples, family, and group therapy as well as medication management. We are dedicated to individual assessment and treatment, and we are pleased to be able to accept many insurance plans. While we strongly believe in therapy, life-style, and environmental changes, we also believe that medication may be helpful, and is sometimes needed, for people to achieve remission of symptoms.
Liz Stewart, PA-C, Christine McCorvey, PA, and Dr. Elizabeth Calvin, a Child, Adolescent and Adult Psychiatrist, make-up our medication management team. Liz has over 10 years of practice in mental health, and Christine brings a background in family practice and urgent care to her years in mental health as well.
Our team meets weekly to discuss cases and to consistently ensure the highest level of care. They are conservative medication providers who specialize in treating depression, anxiety, attention problems, mood and thought disorders. We offer an evidence-based, step-by-step approach to medication management which works to achieve remission of symptoms.
