The Timothy Center is a collaborative group of therapists and medication providers founded in 2001 by Dr. Jimmy Myers, offering individual, couples, family, and group therapy as well as medication management. We are dedicated to individual assessment and treatment, and we are pleased to be able to accept many insurance plans. While we strongly believe in therapy, life-style, and environmental changes, we also believe that medication may be helpful, and is sometimes needed, for people to achieve remission of symptoms.
Liz Stewart, PA-C, Christine McCorvey, PA, Tara Hamilton, PMHNP, and Dr. Elizabeth Calvin, a Child, Adolescent and Adult Psychiatrist, make-up our medication management team. Dr. Calvin began practice in 2014, and each of our practitioners has completed an additional 6-12 months of individual work with her in addition to their licensure requirements.
Our team meets weekly to discuss cases and to consistently ensure the highest level of care. They are conservative medication providers who specialize in treating depression, anxiety, attention problems, mood and thought disorders. We offer an evidence-based, step-by-step approach to medication management which works to achieve remission of symptoms.
