Are you struggling with feelings of loneliness, low self-esteem, uncertainty about your future? As a psychiatrist and psychotherapist I have been working with patients for over 30 years. I treat a wide range of emotional conflicts and their manifestations including depression, bipolar disorder and anxiety. Anxiety comes in many forms - e.g. chronic feelings of being anxious, panic attacks, social or performance anxiety, PTSD, OCD. I also treat adult patients with ADHD, eating disorders and sexual issues.
My expertise, using the combined approach of psychotherapy and medication if needed allows for relief from painful symptoms while also working on longstanding issues. Talk therapy might include exploring early trauma, current conflicts and future concerns, even understanding the meaning of dreams. This can deepen self-awareness and greatly help self-esteem.
Many patients are frustrated by the lack of response to or side effects from their medications. In recent years I have been researching treatment with psychedelic medicine and hope to incorporate this as an option into my practice at some point in the future.
