About

Feeling "stuck" or even "paralyzed" in your career, daily life, or relationships (in areas even beyond romantic) are often why people seek me. My culturally open approach means we will understand how your past and present relationships, ideas, and feelings shape who you are today. I believe talk therapy can lead to deep and lasting changes, and medications, when thoughtfully prescribed, can lessen the intensity of pain and suffering. With my medical and therapy resources, we will create an approach that helps with personal growth.
My practice is fully virtual. While I see individuals and couples, I primarily offer groups for adults and therapists wanting to explore and strengthen the intersection of relationships, identity, and work.
With empathy and an open mind, we will examine the parts of your life that are not serving you. Your readiness to discover answers to your “stuck points” will drive treatment, and I will be in step with you, guiding and reflecting on the journey before us. If you have arrived at my page, I believe that you have taken a crucial step in this journey.

Teresa T. Lee's Groups

Interpersonal process group

This is an online, long-term group for adults who are interested in examining their "stuck" points in life, be it relationships, depression, anxiety. The focus will be on the "here-and-now", what's happening in the group in real-time, and how it relates to life outside the group. Thursdays from 5 PM - 6:15 PM EST. $75/session. Group screening, which is an individual session, is required.

More about this group

Asian, Pacific Is, Desi therapist process group

This is an online space for Asian Pacific Islander South Asian American identified therapists and trainees to deepen their self-understanding and how they relate to others in a “here and now” experience. Group members agree to put their thoughts and feelings into words, and group leaders intervene to clarify, to foster progressive emotional communication, and to keep the group on task. Given this depth, we ask that members commit to at least 8 weeks and choose from one of two groups, one on Tuesdays at 4:30 PM EST or one on Wednesdays 8-9:15 PM EST. Pre-group screening is required.

Asian Pacific Is Desi interpersonal process group

This is an online group for Asian Pacific Islander South Asian American adults, particularly those who find themselves in new or familiar conflicts, be it with work colleagues, family, friends, partners, etc. This is a long-term, here-and-now interpersonal process group for those looking to explore their interpersonal language and relationships with other members in the group. By centering certain racial identities who have historically been disempowered in America, this group likely makes it easier for certain experiences and identities to be known in the group.
