I am a psychiatric nurse practitioner. I believe in providing transparent, patient-centered care in a physically and mentally safe environment. My approach to mental healthcare is patient-centered, reality-based, and holistic. You cannot build rapport without understanding a person's reality.
I work with clients between 10 years old and up, offering medication management and supportive therapy for a variety of mental health disorders. I am also experienced in Medication-Assisted Treatment for Opioid Use Disorder, Alcohol Use Disorder, Nicotine Use Disorder, and much more.
My story is simple. I am a nurse by trade, and I love helping people. I love watching people transition from their worst to their best. Aside from that, mental health is near and dear to my heart. I have an uncle diagnosed with Schizophrenia; I noticed over the years he has been treated as his diagnosis instead of as a person.
