My goal is to help you enhance your overall quality of life. I am interested in the development of the personality throughout the life cycle, how difficulties affect the experience of the self, and how medication and therapy can improve these (and, of course, improve your ability to function in the world.) The majority of my patients have depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, ADHD, obsessive-compulsive disorder, learning disabilities, trauma, Asperger's Disorder, relationship issues, or some combination of these. Often, after I have known someone a while, we move past the presenting problem into personal growth or recovery issues.
My forte is diagnosing and treating classic, common disorders, especially mood and anxiety disorders, no matter how they are manifesting. I especially enjoy sifting through vague or ambiguous symptom clusters where the true diagnosis may be masquerading as something else.
Most of all, I enjoy getting to know my patients-their stories, their struggles, their aspirations. While it may be a specific problem that brings us together, my approach to you will be as a whole person. Fees: Half Hour Follow Up $250 One Hour Session $400 Initial Assessment (90 Minutes) $400
