Hi! My name is Tamara Rasmussen, but you can call me Tami. I'm a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) licensed in OR, WA, UT, MN, & NV. I completed my undergrad & graduate degrees at Azusa Pacific University in Azusa, CA. I see patients 13+. I'm passionate about providing support for life challenges and specialize in issues that include anxiety, depression, PTSD, ADHD, insomnia, chronic pain mental health treatment, and LGBTQIA+ affirming care. Before breaking into the world of psychiatric care, I worked in cardiovascular nursing. When I'm not working, you can find me outdoors with my pitbull Coco!
A PMHNP is a type of nurse practitioner who provides similar services as a psychiatrist, including medication management, testing, and other psychiatric services, but with the holistic, patient-focused training that comes from the nursing world. I am now accepting new patients, and you can schedule directly on our site without a referral, or call/text us!
I'm with Skycloud Mental Health, which offers psychiatric services in OR, WA, UT, AZ, MN, NM, & NV via telehealth. In-person is available in Clackamas and Portland, OR; Issaquah, WA; and Layton, UT. Albuquerque, NM visits coming soon! I can see you in person in Portland, but many of my patients are remote. Therapy via telehealth in OR is also available!
