Soma Self/Eating Disorders Program Synchrony Brain Health works with individuals who have eating disorders and a broad range of challenges in the relationship between their body and self-experience within the Soma-Self program. Patients with histories of eating disorders, trauma, chronic pain, physical injury, chronic illnesses such as Chrohn’s Disease or asthma, or having survived cancer, etc.,

Reward Alternative Pathways IOP
This program includes expert assessment of each individual’s substance-related issues; development of individually tailored relapse prevention plans; individual sessions with the Substance Abuse and Behavioral Addictions Specialist; support for attending 12 Step meetings in the Evanston and Chicago community; and, three hours a week of group programming to educate and to assist members in gaining and maintaining sobriety.

Trauma Recovery Program- Womens & Mens
This group IOP is available separately for men and women who have experienced trauma involving the persistent violation of emotional, physical, or sexual boundaries. Within the context of the latest neurobiological understanding of trauma and traumatic attachment, the impact of trauma on the body, and the psychology of mindfulness, this group focuses on how trauma influences one’s self and interpersonal relationships in the present. Based upon the research of trauma expert Bessel van der Kolk and others, this program adheres to an interpersonal focus format as well as techniques for managing sensorimotor aspects of traumatic memory.
