Sydonie Bongam is a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner who is qualified to practice in both primary care and psychiatry; diagnose, treat, and prescribe medication for children, adolescents, and adults. Her background as a nurse for over 10 years and in primary care as a family nurse practitioner fostered her decision to further her education to better address the needs of individuals struggling with mental health disorders. Some of her practice specialties include Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar disorder, ADHD and Insomnia among others.
Sydonie received a bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Howard University in Washington, DC. She received a Master’s degree as a Nurse Practitioner in family practice from Chamberlain University and a Doctorate Degree as a Nurse Practitioner in Psychiatric Mental Health from the University of Massachusetts (global).
Sydonie is fluent in both English and French and her passion as a psychiatric mental health provider is driven by a desire to help individuals better understand how to manage their mental health conditions by changing their negative thoughts into positive ones including medication management to be able to live more fulfilling lives.
