I am a board-certified Family Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I have worked in the healthcare field for over 34-years. In 2008, I returned to Upstate Medical University and was a graduate of the first program that was offered at Upstate for Family Mental Health Nurse Practitioners. I am very passionate about mental health and assisting others to understand their own mental health needs. I work closely with my clients to assist them in understanding their diagnosis, treatments available for their diagnosis and setting up a plan that will meet their needs best.
I specialize in Mental Health illnesses, such as depression, anxiety, autism , OCD, PTSD, Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia, personality disorders, grief, ADHD & substance abuse disorder. I work closely with clients to stabilize symptoms and coordinate care with their therapist to optimize their treatment.
I am credentialed with most health insurances, and I also accept private pay clients. I have a flexible schedule that can accommodate the needs of clients.
