I am an adult, adolescent & child psychiatrist with 45 years of experience serving the entire San Francisco Bay Area. Please note, I am semi-retired, and am not taking any new patients at this time. Evaluation and treatment is by telephone or video conferencing during the pandemic. I strive to provide effective help with compassion and respect and believe it is a privilege to make a difference in people’s lives.
Within an open and caring relationship, I provide comprehensive diagnostic evaluations with expertise in psychopharmacology, nutraceuticals, and psychotherapy for individuals who may be experiencing: Depression; Bipolar Disorder; Anxiety, Social Phobia, Agoraphobia, PTSD and OCD; ADHD in children, teens, and adults; Addictions; Schizophrenia; & Asperger's.
I also work with individuals experiencing difficult life transitions,crises and traumatic events, family & parenting probems, divorce, medical illness (including Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia), job loss, & death of a loved one. I often provide "2nd Opinion" consultations to individuals, therapists & physicians, as well as forensic expert consults
