Summer earned her Bachelor of Nursing degree from Lincoln Memorial University and previously worked as a registered nurse in residential psychiatry and in medical-surgical and neurological intensive care.

As a psychiatric nurse practitioner, Summer has worked in various clinical settings, including outpatient, inpatient crisis stabilization, residential treatment, and medically-monitored detoxification/drug and alcohol rehabilitation programs.

Summer is dedicated to educating and empowering the individuals she serves, and her patients appreciate her non-judgmental approach and the safe space she creates for open and honest communication. In her free time, Summer enjoys cooking and baking, spending time with family and friends, and exploring new places through travel.
