Hello, I'm Rose! I’m currently accepting new patients! I am board-certified and licensed in Virginia and Washington DC. Having worked in a psychiatric hospital, partial hospitalization program (PHP) and out patient office; I have extensive experience working with adults, children and adolescents to manage depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD, PTSD, autism spectrum and OCD. Prior to graduating as a nurse practitioner, I had 12 years nursing experience working in neurology, psychiatry, hospice and pain management.

Would it be possible to be a family practitioner who has a kind bedside manner, is on a first-name basis with many patients and also, when needed, can make house calls? This is what I used to watch when I grew up, Marcus Welby, M.D. He left me an image of a doctor with humanity in his office as well as mature medical craftmanship. Managed care environment makes this type of practice difficult, but this is my goal to provide compassionate care, filling the gap in the healthcare system whether it is caused by stigma, culture, or finance.

Your mental health is nothing to be ashamed of and far too often we feel that stigma and do not seek help. Whether you are in a crisis or just feel that life is getting tough, I am here to help you work through what you are experiencing and to help you feel more like yourself. I'm Arlene, a board-certified Physician Assistant and Clinical Temperament Counselor. My expertise includes Behavioral Health Counseling and Primary/Acute Care. I hold a national Surgical Assistant Certification with specialized training in Neurosurgery, Plastics/Reconstruction, General Surgery, and Orthopedics. Additionally, I offer services in Medical Nutrition Therapy, Blood-Type Specific Nutrition Counseling, Diabetes Nutrition Counseling, Temperament Career Counseling, as well as addressing anxiety and depression. I'm passionate about my healthcare profession and have had the privilege serving patients for nearly two decades.

Jennifer has worked with children and families in primary care for nearly 20 years and treating kids and adolescents is truly where our passion lies.
