Hi! I'm Dr. Newton, a board certified adult psychiatrist. My particular areas of expertise include women's issues, especially issues surrounding perimenstrual mood disorders, pregnancy, postpartum and menopause. I am passionate about treating anxiety disorders, mood disorders, and psychotic illnesses for adults of all ages, genders and identities. We can work one on one or in collaboration with your primary care provider, primary psychiatrist or Ob/Gyn for specialty care.
With specialty training in reproductive psychiatry as well as a background in consultation-liaison psychiatry, I am well equipped to handle a wide variety of patients and illnesses. I will devote time to sitting with you to understand your goals for both your life as well as your illness and help you to create a medication regimen that works for you.
I am currently accepting new patients and conducting virtual visits. Please feel free to reach out via phone and leave a message on my confidential voicemail. I look forward to hearing from you and helping you reach your goals.
