Hi, I'm Brian, Nurse Practitioner and founder of Introspect Mental Health. We offer psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and supportive psychotherapy via secure video sessions (telehealth), or in-person at our Jacksonville office located in Mandarin. Our caring and highly skilled nurse practitioners are board certified in psychiatry and primary care. We specialize in diagnosing and treating primary mental health disorders such as depression, anxiety, adult ADHD, and bipolar disorder, as well as substance use disorders in adults ages 18 and older.

I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. I treat people age 13 and older who have a variety of mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, mood disorders, schizophrenia, substance use disorders, and others. I completed my advanced psychiatric nursing training at Rutgers University and my undergraduate nursing training at New York University.

I am a compassionate psychiatrist who cares for those with mild, moderate, and severe mental health issues. I seek to help patients find remission from acute and chronic mental health issues, such as depression, inattention, psychosis, and substance use disorders. Additionally, I care for those with dementia and their loved ones who may be suffering with caregiver burnout.

Dr. William (Bill) DeWolf is a distinguished psychiatrist who has dedicated his career to helping patients overcome complex mental health conditions by leveraging the latest advances in psychiatric interventions. He specializes in the treatment of anxiety disorders, depression, bipolar disorders, PTSD, substance use disorder, and OCD.

I prefer working with a variety of patients coming from different backgrounds and with different diagnosis in order to provide comprehensive and individualized care. I enjoy forming strong therapeutic relationships with individuals across the lifespan – becoming familiar with their stories and challenges to transform their lives in a positive way.

As a psychiatric nurse practitioner, it will be my goal to provide my clients with integrative care of the mind, body, and spirit and to advocate for clients who struggle to be heard and understood, and to manage their treatment with empathy and compassion.

I am a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) dedicated to making a difference in my patients lives. What does a PMHNP do? We evaluate various mental health conditions and help to determine if medication is the right route to go to for treatment. We then monitor and adjust those medications in a safe manner. My passion is helping patients achieve balance in their daily life by learning what works for them to decrease their mental health symptoms. I want to help you achieve stability and help you grow. I provide a safe space and provide care in an all-inclusive, and non-judgmental manner.

After completing medical training at Yale medical school, I began my career in family medicine. Even at that time, I was interested in mental health and addiction. As a physician assistant, I can provide medical care, evaluations, med management including anti-craving medications. So much of our lives are affected by our state mind and a prescription is not always the answer. Sometimes it is the other resources to assist the patient. My objective is to work with the patient to achieve their goals for a healthy lifestyle. I get a wave of excitement when I watch people turn their lives around! As a psychiatric nurse practitioner, the education and training I received equipped me to provide individuals entrusting their care to me with evidence-based, patient-centered care. As a professional, I am dedicated to lifelong learning in order to provide my patients with the most up-to-date care. I have worked both in the private and public health sector in general psychiatry and substance use, including medication assisted treatment, e.g., buprenorphine.

I am Board Certified in Adult Psychiatry and have been practicing since 2005. I completed my residency from Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts and my Fellowship in Addictions from the Robert Johnson Wood Foundation. In 2014, I was featured in SJ Magazine as one of New Jersey’s top psychiatrists. I have experience working with adults as well as adolescents suffering from both psychiatric diagnosis and substance use disorders and have extensive experience working in both out-patient and in-patient settings.

I am specialized in Dual Diagnosis disorders. My background is Addiction Psychiatry. However, I also practice General Adult Psychiatry. Recently I was the Medical Director and also the Addiction Psychiatrist at a nationally known addiction treatment center in West Palm Beach, FL.
