I pride myself in providing evidence-based care for depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD, anxiety, and other conditions.
Sexual side effects? Feeling like a robot? Weight gain? Tired all the time? Is it depression or is it the medication to treat the depression? I have seen medications work wonders for people, I've also seen them be questionably helpful and dish up a healthy serving of skepticism.
Whether it is your first time considering medication or if you've tried multiple things and not had benefit, I'm here to help! I provide medication, ketamine/Spravato, and transcranial magnetic stimulation.
After completing a bachelor’s degree at MIT, I earned my MD from Johns Hopkins and competed psychiatry residency at UCSF. I have conducted clinical research at Johns Hopkins, the NIH, and UCSF, working on studies of psilocybin and ketamine. I have gained a lot of experience with treatment resistant depression and anxiety.
I provide medication management, IV ketamine/Spravato, and TMS. I have an interest in LGBTQ mental health and am happy to provide care for patients anywhere on the queer-spectrum. On a more personal note, I enjoy hiking, travel, fantasy novels, and philosophy!
